Born from hunger.
Built with heart.
A real question asked on a real hungry night — and the brand that grew from it.
A real question asked on a real hungry night — and the brand that grew from it.
Where It Started
It started the way most honest things do — with hunger, and no good solution in sight.
When our founder moved out for college, the comfort of home-cooked food felt like a world away. Every evening brought the same exhausting question: what do I order tonight? Delivery apps were expensive and repetitive. Instant noodles were a compromise no one wanted to keep making. But cooking a proper Indian meal felt impossible — too many ingredients, too much technique, too little time.
One night, staring at a phone full of delivery apps, a different question arrived: What if cooking a proper Indian meal didn't require knowing how to cook?
That question became Zaikaari.
Shubam, FounderWhat if cooking a proper Indian meal didn't require knowing how to cook?
Zaikaari gravy bases are built around one idea: everything you need should already be inside the pack. Not most things. Everything.
No masala powders. No salt. No pastes. No extra chopping, grinding, or guesswork. You open the pack, add your choice of protein — chicken, prawns, paneer, vegetables — and cook for fifteen minutes. That is the entire process.
The gravies are made from authentic regional Indian recipes, with spice blends that took time to get right. We did not speed through that part. The flavour is the product — so the flavour had to be uncompromised.
We made a decision early on: no shortcuts on ingredients, ever. Not because it is easy, but because you deserve to know exactly what goes into your food.
Real taste from real spices — not from a flavour enhancer added to mask shortcuts.
The colour comes from turmeric, chilli, and spices. Naturally, the way it should be.
Healthier fats, responsibly sourced — because the oil matters as much as the spices.
Every note in every gravy is crafted from authentic Indian spice blends. Nothing synthetic.
Every recipe traces its roots to the regional kitchens of India — unapologetically real, not adapted for convenience.
Complexity should live in the flavour, not the cooking process. One pack. One protein. Fifteen minutes.
You deserve to know exactly what goes into your food. No hidden ingredients, no buried additives. Ever.
Everyone has the right to a home-cooked meal — regardless of skill, time, or whether their mother is on the phone.
Good food should not come at the cost of your health. Clean label is non-negotiable — not a marketing claim, a commitment.
